Inmarsat Direct Internet Access MJ Sales now offers Direct Internet Access, a fast and seamless means to reach the Internet from any Inmarsat A, B, M, Mini-M, or M4 terminal. Features and Benefits: Direct seamless connection to the Internet.   Users can operate with any client software to access Web sites, send/receive e-mail, or connect to corporate Intranets and Extranets. No registration required.   Faster logon time. Reduced cost to initiate service. No surcharge or monthly subscription fees to access the Internet.   User pays only for the airtime at the applicable information retrieval rate (which is the lowest price for a given service and rate plan). High speed connectivity from our LES to the Internet POP.   No congestion. Initiating an Internet Call: Making an Inmarsat call to the Internet is simple with the Direct Internet Access service. Step #1:   Just connect a PC to an Inmarsat terminal configured to operate in data mode. Step #2:   Program the phone number in MS Dial-up Networking to call 28#. Step #3:   Place a satellite call for automatic routing to MJ Sales Internet Access gateway for a data connection with your PC, and look for an icon or message confirming your connection to the Internet. Applications: Once you are connected to the Internet, you can: send e-mail, access Web sites, and exchange data files.   Use an e-mail client (e.g. MS Outlook Express, MS Exchange, Eudora, etc.) to retrieve and send (ISP permitting) e-mail messages.
